Rant of the Week for June 20, 2008.

My first thing to rant about is the soon need to dial ten numbers to make a local call! I mean 10 numbers? Come on! Alberta must be having a super boom of telephone users for that to happen! It also means alot of people are going to have to reprogram their telephones’ speed dial numbers! Talk about annoying!

MY second thing that I’m going to rant about is more personal, but still important. Why won’t you readers register and comment on this blog? For that matter, why won’t anyone register at any of the sites I control in the Joffee Publishing Network? It makes life so frustrating to see other sites flourish, and mine not! :@

My final rant for this week is directed towards some ISPs. Why do satellite internet companies think that they have the right to limit what people view on their own computers? I mean, if it’s not hurting anyone else (ie. I can see refusing it to software/music/video pirates! ), why stop people from viewing and downloading what they want? It makes no sense to me at all! I also wish that DSL companies would figure a way to offer it in the country-side!
