Today, satellite tv gets installed!

Well, today should be a very good day for me! Satellite tv is going to be installed today, and on Friday, satellite internet will be installed! All in all, it is a very good week so far for me!

Joffee Hosting added to the JPN

Joffee Hosting was successfully launched today by Joffee Publishing Inc. “With four different hosting plans to choose from, there should be a plan to fit anyone’s needs,” said Nathan Pinno, President and Chief Executive Officer of Joffee Publishing Inc. He also mentioned that they accept Paypal or certified checks as payment, though people had to contact them to arrange hosting paying via certified check.

My company soon will be able to host websites.

My company will soon be able to host websites, thanks to a reseller account from JaguarPC. There will be four different packages to choose from:

1. Blog at 3.50 cAD/month
2. Bronze at 10 CAD/month
3. Silver at 20 CAD/month
4. Gold at 30 CAD/month

As soon as the site is up and able to accept orders, I will link to it.

I had to reset my laptop.

Today, I had to reset my laptop, because I had forgotten the password for it. Thankfully, I had not stored any important data on it. Resetting it did not take long, nor re-enabling full desktop mode again.

I will not be posting “Rant of the Week” anymore.

I have decided to discontinue posting the rant of the week because I usually don’t remember what I have been mad at the last week.
In other news, I have decided to try and win the Google Lunar X prize for Joffee Publishing Inc. I will soon be launching a site to this affect. Also, I will soon be moving all of the sites I own to a new server, so expect that they may soon go temporarily off-line. I do not think this should take longer than 3- 4 days at max.

Back to the grind…

Well, I’m back to daily grind of work. One day off a week just does not seem to be enough. I really am hoping that my company takes off soon! I mean with all the products and services it offers, something should sell! At least when my company can pay me a decent salary, I won’t have to take a ride into town in order to earn a paycheck!

I am also planning on going for Google’s new Lunar X prize. Twenty million dollars sure would help my company out big time! However, I have to land a rover on the moon first in order to get it.

Under a week until I get satellite internet!

It is finally under a week until I get satellite internet! I am so pleased to be finally getting it, and that the fact that my dad will be paying half the cost back to me for getting it! I think I will also be able to take a good swipe at my debt as well come Monday.

Today should be interesting…

Today should be interesting, as I will be in town by 10 am, and I do not work until 3pm. At least I will have plenty of time to get something to eat before work! I am planning on going to the post office and the library before I head to work.

I’ve decided to join PokerStars so I can play games of poker with my friends from HardwareLogic Forums. I may join it’s affiliate program as well, as it looks like a way to increase my monthly income passively. I’d better finish posting this, so I can get to bed, so I can be up by 8 am.

Tonight and tommorrow should be interesting…

Since Dad is working 11pm tonight to 3pm tomorrow, I have to either find my own way into town and back home, or rely on Mom for rides. I know that I can go in with Mom tomorrow at 10 am, and that is fine. Tonight, I hope Mom picks me up from work, or else I will have to take a taxi home.

I installed a wireless network yesterday.

Yesterday, I installed a wireless network at home. It was easy to do, and good for when I get satellite internet. I will be able to share it with all operating systems and computers in the house. I will finally be able to make my Ubuntu installation do what I want it to do as well.

Rant of the Week for July 18th, 2008.

It’s that time of the week again! Yep, it’s time for another Rant of the Week! My first target is eBay. How do they think anyone can sell an electronic book, if there is no way to upload it to the site? Plus, items have an expiry date in stores? Give me a break! Those are the two main reasons I cancelled my company’s subscription to a eBay store.

Second and last target is pets in general. Do people really think their pets are returning the love that they give them? I sure do not! I think the pet understands who likes it and treats it well, and who does not, but love… please, that is for humans only! Frankly, I can see how people mis-interpet it as love, but it is really just returning friendship and affection at most. Yes, you may love your pet or pets, but I believe they cannot. Love requires something more than what a pet has or is capable of.

I spent most of today reading!

Well, I spent most of today reading. It was partially due to the fact that I got off early, but I did not mind all the reading time. I like reading books, especially anything in the “Chronicles of Valdemar” series by Mercedes Lackey. I have to admit, he is a very good reader. I wouldn’t mind making one of his trilogies into a series of movies one day.

Successfully upgraded to version 2.6!

This blog has successfully been upgraded to WordPress version 2.6! It is so far so cool, and better than the old version, and the plug-ins that needed upgrading just needed me to click a link to upgrade them. If you are going to run a blog, I strongly suggest you try WordPress. As far as I care, it’s the best CMS for it in the world!
