I hate how stories make going to sleep sound so easy!

I hate how authors in most stories make it look like falling asleep is easy. It is not easy, as I know far too well! I only fall directly asleep when I am super tired, not every night! Usually it takes me at the least a half an hour of resting on my bed before I fall asleep! I wish one author would make a character have sleep issues, then maybe it would make them easier to believe. I mean, who’s going to believe that the character does not have any sleep issues for the whole story or novel? I sure know I don’t!

I know I am probably ranting at something that is too well established to change, but if I can convince at least one author to change this tiny bit, I will be happy with my tiny success.

Crazy times at work…

It’s crazy times at work, as the shift I just work shows. I was scheduled to be done by 11:15 pm, but I did not get out until 5 minutes after midnight! Last night, I got out at 11:50 pm. All because the manager wants us to stock up and clean up the store perfectly before leaving! None of the other managers has made us do this much when they closed. I am so glad I only close twice next week!
