Canadians are to vote on October 14th.

Well, Stephen Harper has done it. He has gotten the Governor General to call an election for October 14, 2008, almost a year before when the law that was passed (unaminously!) said we were going to the polls. I think the Conservatives deserve the right to lead the next Parliament because of their record of keeping their promises most of the time. This is a reluctant vote though, because my choice will not be on the ballot. I will post more about my choice in the coming days.
