I’m working nights now so you can expect posts here on my blog to be posted in the afternoon after I get up from sleeping. The good news is that my job is full-time so I’ll be making a nice amount of money every month, and my paydays are now steady, even if my employer doesn’t do direct deposit but old-fashioned checks. I’m not going to complain either, as I’m very happy to be working once again. 😀
I decided to rejoin DeviantArt because I wanted a place to post my art when I start creating it. I decided that my blog didn’t get enough exposure, so posting it elsewhere would be better for me. I could have used Imgur, but I want to keep that for my Minecraft screenshot posts. Hopefully, I will get some inspiration soon and I will create something to post on my gallery there.
In other news, I’m working to create and schedule videos for my YouTube channel ahead of time so that I don’t have to worry about posting if I get a sore throat or something like that. It also reduces the total time each day that I have to dedicate my internet to uploading videos there. Maybe I’ll use some of this downtime to create some art for my DeviantArt gallery… 😉
I’ve come to some realizations about my life. They are:
- God wants obedience from me in every aspect of my life. I might seem good – by going to church every Sunday and volunteering there – but God also wants obedience in my private life.
- I don’t know if God wants me to run a Christian social network for a business. I’m going to have to pray about this and see where the Lord leads in this area of my life.
- I need to keep active and when not playing games, I need to keep my Christian music playing on my computer. This will help me focus more on obedience to what God wants and less on things He doesn’t want in my life.
- I’ve got a nice library here but if I don’t use it, it just goes to waste. Same for my art supplies and the other stuff I don’t use on a more regular basis like my gaming consoles.
This is a lot to take in and I really need to think about where my life is heading and where I need to make it go in the future. I also need to study the Bible more and maybe look for more Christian books to read instead of the fan fiction crap that I’ve read on my breaks at work and at home. Now I need to go take my shower and get ready to do today’s live stream on my YouTube channel. 😉
See ya all later and may the Lord bless and keep you all! 😀
I had a great reunion this past weekend, but now it’s time to get back to normal things. I did a couple of live streams yesterday after I got home (one after 2 and one at 7:30 or so) and will not be doing one today even though I will be playing Minecraft this morning before I have to go to work this afternoon. I will be starting a modded 1.12.2 Survival world so that I can eventually build Loyalty Hall to display my awesome Twitch followers (and eventual subscribers) and Patreon supporters! Right now though I need to go have a shower, then it will be time to play so take care for now!
I’ll be busy this weekend attending my family reunion here in Camrose and I doubt I’ll have any time to stream to Twitch. A lot of relatives are going to be there and a lot is planned, and I’ve volunteered to help out with the computer-related stuff (and I’m getting paid to do so). I just hope this summer flu I’ve got goes away by tomorrow or it won’t be entirely fun for me…
Unless people become members (at least one at each website) at Artist Community or Disciples of Jesus by the end of the month, I will remove the site or sites that are not active. An active forum is one that is growing in members as well as in posts. Right now, neither one of these two sites fits this profile and are just burdens on my hosting account. CityCraft, on the other hand, is a very active site and I will be happy to keep running it and the Minecraft server, though donations would be welcome there to help with the costs.
If I do shut down those two websites, I will instead be relaunching my Patreon page. I have a few ideas on how that will be, but you will have to wait and see what they are if I take this option. 😉
I got my first tip today on the same day I got the same person following me on Twitch! Yeah, it’s just a dollar, but it’s the value that I was tipped and someone appreciated the work that I put into my live streams. Of course, no one voted on this week’s poll on Twitter, so I got to choose the game I wanted to play. I’m going to do another live stream this evening because I want to remake my tools (lost it first to a fall from a high place including an elevator block – a lot of work went into that – then to lava when I fell in) and I’m so happy over getting my first tip plus I’ll probably be playing this world a lot less after the CityCraft server goes live.
