Looking at Shutting Down parts of CityCraft

Hey, citizens of CityCraft and visitors to my blog!

Due to the lack of players on the CityCraft server, lack of posts on the CityCraft forums, and active chat in the Discord server, I am severely inclined to shut the Discord server and website down and switch the Minecraft server to a whitelisted one for my Patreon supporters and Twitch subscribers. Unless theย  CityCraft server becomes more active (as well as the Discord server and the CityCraft forum) soon, I will be doing this.

I do not wish to take this action, but I feel I have no choice in this. I would also be rebooting the CityCraft server and changing the modpack (adding two plugins, one of them a major one in Tinker’s).

Thanks for your time today,
Nathan Pinno (swagnillaice)

PS. If I do take this action, I’ll move the modpack and zip file links here to a password-protected page and give the password only to my subscribers and supporters. That page will also contain a list of the mods my server and I use.

I’m launched my Patreon page

I’ve launched my Patreon page as well as my own Discord server for my Twitch fans. I really want to be able to stream more often for my fans on Twitch and have decided that this is the best route for me to follow at this time. I’d also like to reach the three concurrent viewers and fifty (50) followers needed for affiliate status with Twitch.

I’ve already built Loyalty Hall in my single-player world of Survival City, and in this morning’s live stream will be adding my current Twitch followers to the Twitch hall there. I’d like to take this time once again to thank them for following me on Twitch and showing their support of my channel. The fact that I’m already a fifth of the way to the followers needed for affiliate status is huge IMHO!

I hope that if you enjoy watching me on Twitch that you will consider to support me on Patreon and/or Twitch by following me there as well. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Unless people join Artist Community or Disciples of Jesus…

Unless people become members (at least one at each website) at Artist Community or Disciples of Jesus by the end of the month, I will remove the site or sites that are not active. An active forum is one that is growing in members as well as in posts. Right now, neither one of these two sites fits this profile and are just burdens on my hosting account. CityCraft, on the other hand, is a very active site and I will be happy to keep running it and the Minecraft server, though donations would be welcome there to help with the costs.

If I do shut down those two websites, I will instead be relaunching my Patreon page. I have a few ideas on how that will be, but you will have to wait and see what they are if I take this option. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Parking lots are NOT playgrounds!

Parking lots are NOT playgrounds – they are a dangerous place for children to play! Parents if you are reading this, please remind your children of this fact! Please also remind them that the shopping carts are not toys and should not be played around with! I don’t want to one day have to tell a parent that their child got hurt playing on a parking lot where I work, so if this message can be gotten out, I’ll be a happy worker!

If no one joins me on the CityCraft Minecraft server

If no one joins me on the CityCraft Minecraft server by the end of the month, I’ll shut down the Discord server and the website, and whitelist the server. I’ll then only grant access to Patreon and Twitch subscribers as a benefit of supporting me (and move the pack and zip file to here to be hosted). I’ll then redo the Discord server as a place for my followers to hang out and chat with me. It’s one thing for people to join the website and the Discord server, but another to join the server. I’d rather play with people than just chat with them.
