I’ll be live streaming tonight and tomorrow night…

I will be live streaming to my Twitch channel tonight and tomorrow night at 11 PM and at 2 AM (both times are based in the America/Edmonton time zone). Each live stream will last for about two hours and that will be the schedule for my live streaming going forward. More likely than not, I will be streaming Minecraft – sometimes from a server called Chipping Blocks (a survival server on hard mode) and sometimes from a streamable game I’ve created for the Peaceful Pack I play through as a series on my YouTube channel.

I’ve added Environmental Tech to the Peaceful Pack

I’ve added Environmental Tech to the Peaceful Pack. It’s a high-end tech mod that requires you to have at least acquired diamonds and gone to the Nether to start crafting the blocks in it. However, it has powerful mining and energy producing capabilities once you get into it. I would consider the Peaceful Pack with all the tech mods in it more of a tech modpack than a Vanilla+ one at this point.

I will be streaming on occasion to my Twitch channel, but only when the mood strikes me, and I will not be streaming Minecraft or the other game I am playing through at the moment on my YouTube channel. I am working on a new project today, but I may stream a game this afternoon if I get it done or get bored as it’s just data entry of categories that need to be completed before I can open Gate 90 as the web’s newest business directory.

I’m launched my Patreon page

I’ve launched my Patreon page as well as my own Discord server for my Twitch fans. I really want to be able to stream more often for my fans on Twitch and have decided that this is the best route for me to follow at this time. I’d also like to reach the three concurrent viewers and fifty (50) followers needed for affiliate status with Twitch.

I’ve already built Loyalty Hall in my single-player world of Survival City, and in this morning’s live stream will be adding my current Twitch followers to the Twitch hall there. I’d like to take this time once again to thank them for following me on Twitch and showing their support of my channel. The fact that I’m already a fifth of the way to the followers needed for affiliate status is huge IMHO!

I hope that if you enjoy watching me on Twitch that you will consider to support me on Patreon and/or Twitch by following me there as well. 😉

Blog – what is it?

What is a blog?

Most people who are online should know what one is, but for those of you who are new to the internet, I’ll explain it in this post. The word blog comes from the phrase “web log” with web referring to the internet and the word log meaning a group of posts ordered by date. They can also be organized by categories and/or tags.

Why should I host my blog with The WhiteEagle’s Aerie?

Running your own blog means that you are responsible for everything – security, choosing the plugins, choosing the theme, updates, and everything else that comes with it. Here we take care of the security and updates, and can also help you if you run into issues with themes or plugins. It is also free for if you need up to 512 MB of storage for your uploaded media – most hosts start out at least $4.99/month or more (depending on the level of service and hosting you choose). You also have to put up with ads, but can remove them, increase the number of themes, plugins, and your storage for just C$5/month for our cheapest subscription.

Yes, you have to also abide by our rules, but even if you go the running your own blog unless you can run a server yourself, you have to abide by someone’s rules. Our rules are just common sense – no adult content (unless you can justify it as artistic and/or educational and not just titillating), no spam, and respecting the other members in the forums. The no adult content rule comes from our payment provider Paypal, which doesn’t allow adult-related transactions through its service.

Get started today!

Get started today by registering for an account (on this the main site) and after you verify your email address and log in, just choose the Add New option under My Sites to get started. You will need to provide a site domain, name and tagline to get started. You will also need to pick the site’s privacy level, but you can always change that in your settings if you change your mind later. Please take note that a Site Admin (like myself) can view all sites in the network regardless of this setting. After that is done, congratulations, you now can write for your own blog and have others read it as well! Good luck and happy writing!

Update: This site is now just a single-person blog and registration has been disabled completely.
