WordPress has been updated to 5.1, the latest version of WordPress. From what I can tell, it won’t affect my sites at all as it’s just a polishing update to Gutenberg, the new editor (and I use the Classic Editor plugin at all of my sites). I’m just happy to keep my website up to date and safe from any exploits in the code.
My blog is now running WordPress 5.0, but I’m sticking with the classic editor. I prefer it as I am used to it and I know my plugins work well with it. Why fix something that isn’t broken?
